So he's either really due for a good game. Or he's leveled out as a 4% shooter.

I am hoping for the former.

Napier is too good for this slump to last much longer. With Boat at the point, I expect Bazz to have a good game soon.

It's clear that playing 40 min/g while Boat was out wore on him. I think he's nursing something, but playing through it and not complaining.

He'll turn it around. Hopefully he can get some better rhythm from the 2

Apparently to one boneyarder Shabazz is simply playing at his maximum ability so these type of shooting nights should be the norm. All kidding aside, I hope Bazz and Lamb break out of these slumps soon, they seemed hesistant in taking open jumpers the other day against SH and a game where you have a blowout going is where you want to get your confidence back. Shabazz seemed to make it a point to let Boat run the offense more in the halfcourt and defer to him so if he's going to operate more as a SG he needs to get that shot going. It may not be tonight but I can't see him continuing to struggle like this, I think the shooting abilitly we saw in the beginning of the year before the sprained foot and ankle injuries is much more like the real Shabazz then the one we've been seeing lately and last season from deep.

There is nothing wrong with Napier physically, so stop making excuses for him. There is a big difference between playing hurt and being injured. Shabazz is a good shooter but he doesnt have a big upside which is why I said he is maxed out potential wise. Lamb isn't playing great by any stretch either but hes not shooting 1 for 23. I dont worry about Lamb because he is a great talent and can score in a lot of ways. I am more worried about Napier's defense more than offense considering he will be going up against Peyton Siva and Russ Smith during tonights game.

I think Bazz is due for a great game. He had good rebounding against Seton Hall, and he seemed to leave his ego off the court. Maybe AO calling for a team meeting made an impact. Bazz didn't stand at half court and wave at Boat till he passed him the ball. Looks like he might be ready to take a back seat and focus on winning instead of focus on keeping his spot at starting point. Letting go of the ego will have a great impact on his game. He'll start scoring...hopefully tonight.

I'm going to take the word of the coaching staff(both the ESPN and CBS announcing crews quoted Blaney saying Napier had a sprained foot) before I take the word of an idiot like yourself who has never been in the lockerroom or around the team....and with that, enjoy your stay on the ignore list.

There is no need to go overboard and over analyze why he's 1-22. Slumps are a part of any sport.

He isn't as bad as 1-22 and on the same token, he isn't going to get a triple double every night as he did vs Coppin St. Eventually he'll get to his averages.

With that being said, if the 1-22 was going to happen, I'd rather have it happen now than in post season ...

With 67 turnovers and his man scoring 94 pts on him during the same stretch. Why he is still in is beyond me

Well, his body language tonight is terrible, and he has made numerous mental mistakes.

Refresh my memory. This kid posted a triple double this year?
WTF happened?
He made a handful of momentum killing, Dyson-esque plays tonight. Very tough.

3-14 tonight, which is actually a big improvement, 0-5 from 3.

Bazz misssed guys all night and played no defense on the 3's. His missed shot toward the end of he 1st half started the landslide.

Ace your excuses keep piling on one after the other. If that moron Blaney actually took my advice and played with Boat, lamb, scoe, alex, and drummond in this game the whole time we could of had a shot in this game. However, this game was not lost by Napier as many are saying here because they had such unreasonable expectations for the guy. UConn never plays well at Louisville including last year when we got blown out. Louisville is a team that matches up well with us but the bigger issue going forward is Blaneys horrendous lineups and adjustments, and the fact that Napier is playing way too many minutes.
