i didn't read the game thread yet so I dint know if this was discussed but Napheesa was great last night! She did exactly what Geno wants - she brought a spark off the bench. Kudos to this young woman on a job well done!

Napheesa entered the game at a tense moment after fouls that put Morgan and Gabby on the bench. It was a moment when the momentum could have turned against us and much of the crowd was fearful of that. The pressure of the moment was substantial for Napheesa and she performed tremendously. Made me much more confident in the outcome of the next 2 (hopefully) games and next season. I was delighted for her since she is one of my favorites.

I really believe she has a shot at becoming the next "great one". Going to love watching her mature and improve her game under Geno's coaching.

I was very impressed with her guarding one of the 6-5 players and was able to move her to a disadvantage. Can't wait for her to assert herself next year. She's going to be a future All-American

Naphessa will be the most improved player on UConn's roster next year. She will get starter minutes, she will get stronger over the summer and she will integrate the incredible freshman experience that she has lived through. We will see how great Naphessa is and I think we have a great one in her.

Napheesa played like Morgan so when Geno took her out there was no letdown. She played very poised. I hope it continues next weekend.

It will be really interesting to see if these two can lead the Huskies to a championship. Going to be fun to watching their continued development as players and how they handle being the focus of opponents defensive efforts.

What are the wingspans of these two wonderful players? Their's seem longer than their heights. I think Kia, Gabby and Natalie all will make great improvement during the Summer. With Crystal coming in, we will have a very interesting and exciting season ahead of us.
