Napheesa Collier Never Gave Up

"PHEEEESSAA!!!!!!" She'd hear the word bellow out of coach Geno Auriemma at a practice, and she'd know she was about to get called out. Again. Another mistake. And the worst part? She knew he was right...

Collier trained twice a day that summer with Alex Bazzell, who also trains Parker and Atlanta Hawks rookie star Trae Young. The first sessions began at 6 a.m. Stepping outside of the paint, she developed a soft touch. Over and over, she labored on her footwork.

I'm really happy for both of them, and I hope he deserves her.

A little more advice advice: Never go to bed angry. End every evening with a kiss and an "I love you."

A little tidbit from Car Talk (RIP Tommy): If a tree falls in the forest and nobody is there to hear it, is the husband still wrong?

He may or may not be wrong. He is however responsible, which is pretty much the same thing.

This is awesome! Congrats to both Phee and Alex! Ironically, my son proposed to my daughter-in-law in Central Park as well. He put a very expensive ring on one of those radio-controlled boats.

She is a catch on so many levels.
Napheesa is the kind of young lady we all wish our sons would marry!

There is nothing like a strong marriage. I don't think my wife and I could get along without each other -- even when one drives the other crazy. And that happens several times a week. I just wish I met my soulmate earlier – I was a few weeks shy of 41 when we married ... would like an extra 20 years together.
 
okay..any truth to the rumor that KLS will be the bridesmaid...Geno after getting online minister degree will perform the ceremony which will be held at Gampel and CD will provide the cake?

The man may be the head of the household, but the woman is the neck and she can turn the head any way she wants.

I think Isabella said that to Ferdinand back in the day. Right around the time the Inquisition was wrapping up.

I don't doubt KLS will be in the wedding but the rest of it, probably not.
