Napheesa 3 x 3 or 5 x 5 Olympic Team? `

If you were Napheesa which team would you choose? For me it would depend on who my teammates were on the 3 x 3 Team. IMO winning a Gold on the 3 x 3 team would be much harder then the 5 x 5 team which is loaded with talent.

Why not both? Pheesa would be kinda like Jim Thorpe winning both the pentathlon & decathlon in the 1912 Stockholm Olympics.

Doubt 1 player taking 2 Olympic spots would go over well.

The main issue is that in 3 x 3, USA is hardly dominant so USA should be trying to get the team with most experience in 3 x 3 to stick with it. I am sure USA will push hard for her to stay with 3 x 3. There are many options USA has for 5 x 5

I suspect Phee will end up on the 3. There will be other opportunities for the 5. Me, I'd head to the 5 if I could, even as a sub, because it is a team you have to earn in on.

I think Team USA was giving Lou a hard look for the 3x3. Last I checked, she played pretty darn well with Phee.
