Nelson-Ododa is one of 15 players named to the Naismith DPOY Midseason List (Source).

Who do you think is the favorite to win DPOY this season?

Stats below are for D1 games only through Week 11 (up to 20-Jan-2020).

I think Boston gets the nod for FOY, Cox gets DPOY, and Ionescu (even though she isn't on this list...) gets NPOY.

Cox is hands down the most effective defender but may not be eligible for missing so many games. Honestly, I'd vote for Richards #2 if Cox doesnt get it. She's been the most impressive perimeter defender I've seen all year.

Not to hijack the thread but agree with this, although others could give Boston a run depending on how the year pans out. Ionescu seems to be distancing herself from the rest of the pack right now. Not seeing any strong challengers at this point.

Nice to see some representation from my alma mater! Stephanie Karcz one of only 3 people on the list not from Power 5 schools, and is collecting an insane 6.2 steals per game through 18 games. That includes 2 triple-doubles this season featuring double-digit points, rebounds and steals (she was tantalizingly close to a quadruple double a couple weeks ago with 13 points, 12 rebounds, 12 steals and 7 assists). No chance of winning DPOY but still cool to see her recognized.
