It took NA half the season to figure it out. I used to wince when he came in. But he turned into a weapon both ends. Congrats to the young man. He deserves all his success.
I felt very confident every time he came into the game, throughout the tournament.

He became lethal the second half of the season with his 15' shot around the free throw line and the paint. Felt so confident when he would take the dribble, pull up and shoot that lefty J.

I became an instant fan of Nahiem when I first heard the story of Dani Jo when Alleyne committed here. She has excellent taste and even wished him well during the tournament. Hopefully she gets some championship gear. Nahiem never hung his head while he struggled finding his identity on a new team. Neither the staff nor his teammates ever gave up on him and were his biggest supporters as he regained his confidence.

His defense was nearly flawless all tournament. His shot wasn't falling in the F4 and Championship games but was very important in the tournament before that, and I loved that he added a midrange pullup and floater in his bag when the three wasn't going down

VERY important piece to our run. Unsung, but definitely not unappreciated

IMO.. It took awhile for Nahiem to gain Danny's confidence.. Around mid-year when DH was trying to figure out how to utilize/optimize Andre's talents.. Nahiem started getting some run off the bench.. From that point til last night.. He never looked back.. Did his thing on both sides of the ball.. Making threes/mid range jumpers and taking charges.

He plays confidently but in a quietly efficient way.. I think he's sometimes hard to figure out because he's so quiet and soft-spoken.. Not a rah-rah dude. X factor since Seton Hall game and would love for him to run it back next year with our returnees and the Fab Five.

Dan's best job may have been defining and getting the guys to buy into their roles.

And goodness Ray looks great for 30 let alone how old he is

Here’s a take… his half court shot against Marquette at the end of the first half marked the turning point of the season.
