The way I remember it. I think he wanted to come here but we waited on him and he went where he was the priority. It wasn't an either or with Gilbert. We waited and Powell went elsewhere, we ended up with Vital.

Wasn't making the thread as an I told you so, I like our future. He's a northeast/South Kent kid most of us know about and he's awesome.

Isn't he 6'1"? Even if he's not a PG, can you play him and Gilbert together? I guess if you're starting 6'2" Vital at the 3, that question is moot. I retract my complaint.

Yes. So if we got Powell, either Gilbert or Vital probably would’ve never been a Husky. But I’m more than happy with Gilbert and Vital. Just hurts to see a kid like Powell who wanted to come here light it up somewhere else..
