What's up with Michael Myers being placed over Fatukasi on the DT depth chart for this week's game? I get that Fatukasi had a bonehead play in week 1 but he's been an animal. Most tackles of any D lineman (despite missing 1/2 of Army) as well as 2 TFL and a fumble forced. I'm a bit confused here.

He has to work his way back. I get that. As long as Diaco doesn't cut off his own nose to spite his face.

But he played the second half of the Army game. Or so I thought?

Hold on--now I'm seeing one depth chart that has him as a starter. May have been a mistake that someone made on Twitter.

Yeah, my bad. I was reading a tweet from the press conference but it must have been a typo. Thanks.

Disco used all 4 tackles listed in the depth chart last week..especially Campenni, Meyers, and Fatukasi (in the 2nd 1/2). I wouldn't read anything into it..same with the LB's. I see Lemelle is in the 2 deep again...and if Samara has another bad game I wonder at some point if they put Oak in at either guard or Center and move Vechery to guard.

Defenses generally rotate guys in and out. Of the 60-aught defensive plays it wouldn't surprise me if each D-lineman on the 2-deep played roughly half.

I think Fatukasi is slightly better in gaining backfield penetration, Myers is a little better at stopping the run. Either way works for me.

I agree. I think they are both talented, but complementary. I would not want to see Myers in on obvious passing situations as I think F-squared creates far more push
