Fun filled two plus days in SC. Learned a lot about Fort Sumter. Getting to help raise the flag was the best part of the trip edging out hanging out with the players families and the players after the game. So glad I went. The fans of The University of South Carolina were great fans, except the one who went to complain about my wig and thought I should take it off. Even met their Number One fan GAMECOCK JESUS. I now at home for a few days before heading to the game at Temple.

Danny see you on Sunday at Temple. Right in front of the real live owl.

Normally, I love the UCONN chant at away games. The one time I heard it on tv last night was when Wilson was down on the floor. Not a big fan of that. Scariest thing I ever saw in my life on tv was when KML was screaming. Would have gone nuts if I heard a Stanford chant then. By all means keep doing it, but perhaps not when a kid is injured. If I misheard it, I apologize, but I am fairly certain that's when I heard the chant.

"GAMECOCK JESUS"? This begs further explanation....

Is this he?

The one and only. I sit across the aisle from him at men's games. He is a nurse at the VA Hospital in Columbia and he also brings a group of disadvantaged people to all of the MBB and WBB games. He is also known as the stomper because he can stomp with the best of them.

(WOW REALLY YOU THOUGHT THAT WAS ME?)That was not me. I would never do it during an injury. I only did one Chant and it was the one that Jeff Jacobs wrote about. That incredible roar was long gone. By 8:32 p.m., early in the fourth quarter, the Huskies fan who wears that bizarre collection of little basketballs on his head was yelling, "UConn!" And the place had turned so quiet, you could hear the UConn fans spaced around the arena answering, "Huskies." (( Yes spelled gramer wrong)) But there is no way that was me.PSS Normally I only post to get likes but its more important that you know that I would never represent UConn in a bad way.

Glad you had fun in my hometown! Hope the gamecock fans showed you lots of southern hospitality!
