My mindset for the rest of the season and beyond

I will watch for sure. This is what I expect:

1. Clemson - A big loss. We come out excited by the atmosphere but get our clocks cleaned.
2. UCF - They play hot and cold. We have them after a ranked SMU and before their rival USF, so MAYBE they overlook us and we don't get blown out. I expect a loss but hope for a respectable showing.
3. Houston - Pain.

Hate to say it but I wish all 3 of these games were on ESPN3, nothing positive for our program to have these games televised other than for the players’ families to be able to watch I guess?

How long does Clemson keep starters in? Any predictions?

I’m guessing they put up 24 in the first quarter and pull some of the starters before the half and all of them five minutes into the third quarter. Just pray everyone walks out healthy. God have mercy on their souls.

Clemson is the best program on the schedule but might not be the best team this year. UConn will get destroyed but they are used to that

Clemson is hurting...against Pitt last Saturday, they just lost their starting running back, their starting Offensive lineman, tight end, and defensive end ...

Quarterback/wide receiver Will Taylor, offensive lineman John Williams, offensive lineman Tayqon Johnson, defensive tackle Bryan Bresee, and safety Lannden Zanders were already out for the year.

But saying that...while they have problems with their offense, their defense will still give evryone a problem.

We’ll still get smacked even if their 4th string players were to start. It doesn’t matter how many starters are injured we stand zero chance. We struggled against many teams back ups this year already and those teams don’t even have close the talent Clemson has. we’re a bye week for them, look at what MT did to us.

As long as our defense and offense remains easy to read, you're right, we don't have a chance.. may not even have a chance to score...

BUT, even still, I'm gonna watch... I'm gonna look to see if they can prove me wrong and show something (anything)... That's how it is when you care too much... gotta get my antacid ready....

I do get it...when FSU played UMass, they played the 3rd and 4th string quarterbacksin the 2nd half...five different players rushed for a TD.....the bench was emptied...numerous players got in for their first game this year including walk-ons.

Humility helps sometimes.. We should probably take a page out of that book considering what we've been through for 10 years...

FSU is bad...but they are the only team in ACC history to lose their first four games and then win their next three....

Football is a cookie that can crumble either way when you aren't a real good team...and several cookies crumbled bad.

FSU lost to Notre Dame in OT...a close game.

FSU lost to Jax State when, with no time on the clock, Jax State's hail mary pass completed for a 56 yard TD...

Just a little separates a 4-3 from a 5-2 team.

No.. you can, but geesh some comments are as if we've been in 10 bowl games in a row instead of 10 miserable seasons in a row...

In my opinion.. and I can really use the words I wanna use.. You talk mess, at some point you back it up.. Us as fans can't/shouldn't talk crap about programs as if we're head and shoulders above anybody.. some comments come off that way..

I believe in Karma... stuff comes back your way, just not the way you expect...

Could it be a coincidence we suck so bad? Just sayin... I'm not sayin keep your mouth shut. But when you go in with extremely harsh comments that can easily make it look like you're better than somebody else (and EVERYBODY knows that ain't the case) why talk smack like that?

And I'm a diehard Yankee fan (since Chris Chambliss hit that HR against the Royals in '76)... It sucks that we haven't won a WS in a decade, BUT, we're still consistently in the playoff hunt.. very seldom have we had a down year where weren't at least in the playoff hunt.. We're in the "at least we made a bowl" game mode of MLB... maybe not championship caliber, but we win enough to play a tad longer than the regular season... (Here's hoping my Yankees bring the right guys for '22 in get WS # 28.. heck of a lot of championships around our belt already)

We're in the "at least we made a bowl" game mode of MLB... maybe not championship caliber, but we win enough to play a tad longer than the regular season... (Here's hoping my Yankees bring the right guys for '22 in get WS # 28.. heck of a lot of championships around our belt already)
