After 2012's disappointing year, subsequent transfers, a foreseeable NCAA tourney ban, conference realignment, and HOF HC JC retiring, the program was not looking good.

Since then, HC KO has 'taken the baton' from JC 'and run with it' as he has said. With KO's guidance and some help from Bazz, we are now riding high. We're coming off a 4th title, involved with every 2015 stud recruit, and about to open a new practice facility.

KO has not only taken the baton and run with it, he's now lapping the field. What a remarkable turnaround and resurgence. We are so lucky to be UConn fans and to have KO at the helm. The future is only getting brighter.

Bleed blue!

Well, they can't all tank, but I'm thinking Syracuse is going to have a harder time than the other schools maintaining their status post-Boeheim.

I agree but they should be OK as the 3rd best program in the ACC. What's certain is if they were in our slot they'd be dead.

Unlikely they ever win another title.

The under-reported tournament story of the last 20 years is just how frequently Syracuse has lost tournament games that it had no business losing. I'm not just talking about failing to win a title; winning a championship is pretty hard (even though we make it look easy).

They have more losses to double-digit seeds (6) than any other program in the 64-team era. That's tough to do.

Frankly, I'm sure Syracuse will be fine…

That said, I would like their HOF coach to stay around for a long time & carry on the fine tradition of the Orange Zone… He's kind of stuck with it now...

Great post. I mean, that's the thing. This program was left for dead. We were becoming a Mid-Major. UConn basketball was on the decline. Then we went out and won the whole damn thing. Couldn't feel better to be a Husky fan. We should all be saying, "pinch me".:p:D

I think Syracuse post-Boeheim will be just fine....First of all, Boeheim is not a great game coach..... I suspect they may even improve on quality of coach..... but even with a mediocre coach, they always have the sell of the Carrier Dome...... self centered kids especially cannot but help to be drawn by it......
