This is so subtle and had so little impact on the outcome of a game, but speaks to how completely we were in control of our games throughout the season.

It's the waning moments of the 1st half against Northwestern. Karaban has just hit a 3 to put us up 39-16 with a minute to go.

Northwestern goes uncharacteristically quickly, gets into a 1-on-1 situation in the paint with a bigger guy backing down Karaban and score on a hook shot. The ball goes through the hoop at 0:45. We see Cam pick up the ball and walk vaguely towards the end line at 0:42. The camera cuts to the Northwestern scorer and stays there for several seconds before cutting to their coach for another few seconds. What's going on?

Finally they cut to a shot of Newton, who plucks the ball off the floor in the backcourt at 0:31. The shot clock starts. We hold for the last possession and Diarra draws a foul and shoots FTs at 0:01 for the last action of the half. They tried to go 2-for-1. We negated it by stalling, completely legally, for fifteen seconds. We didn't see exactly what happened, but probably was some combination of walking to the end line, tossing it to the ref and getting it back, and rolling it in bounds as the game clock wound, but the shot clock didn't.

The headiness, confidence, and control that this team exhibited in all aspects of the game, even down to situational clock management, may never be surpassed.

The game within the game. This coaching staff is on a different level.

Tough to beat the 30-0 sequence against Illinois at the Garden, packed with UConn fans with two iconic comedians in the house :).

My sentiments as well. All the pundits said that Illinois was the team that could end UConn's season and all UConn did was throttle them with that 30-0 run for the ages

After that game no one really believed any else had a shot.

Honestly, I kind of hated it. Feels like gaming the game instead of just playing. Don’t blame them for doing it because it was clearly a very effective and legal strategy, but it was annoying!

My vote goes to 30-0 :)

I also loved Karaban getting the ball from Newton and hitting a long 3 to give Newton another triple double. Before that Karaban couldn't hit anything and Newton still let his triple double ride on Karaban finally dropping one in from long range.
I loved how excited Steph was when it happened. He ran back down the length of the court with his arms around Newton. A full-court hug, if you will.

Remember, Newton teed him up a bit earlier and AK didn't shoot. He didn't make that mistake again.

Johnson's first alley-oop against Edey. If Purdue thought they could gain ground wit Clingan on the bench that was wrong. I also thought it took some wind out of the sails of the Purdue faithful.

France is just better coached better ball movement and they seem like they want it more.

My favorite part of that play is the emphatic air punch by Cam being so amped up for his teammate’s success.

I enjoyed the game against Bama in the final four. That was a sweat until the last 5 minutes or so. But my favorite sequence was the last 10 of the Natty. The resignation on the faces of Purdue to defeat was schadenfreude on steroids. They knew it was over with a good amount of time left. It was beautiful. Byke2Byke

Wrong thread I was driving when I made that post, was concerting on the road.
Isn't DWB (driving while boneyarding) not only dangerous, but also illegal?

Good thing I didn't get a DWB charge I would need to hire a good attorney from this board, I would rather save my money.

Gonna miss Newton.

Y'know what sequence I liked? When the Ill. guy with the butt was covered by Alex and threw up a brick, started jogging back while AK sprinted by him for an uncontested lay-up. That was a show your belly moment for me.
