I think when Brimah had a block on the defensive end and it went out of bounds then there was a timeout. They showed Ollie and he had this killer look on his face which really showed how much it means to him and how he still gets pumped up just like the players. I don't know what you guys thought about it but I loved it. Here's a picture of it if you don't remember:

Was definitely a "that's what I'm talking about" moment! Good to see a pleased KO. And super good to be happy with our play. Keep the positive momentum going.

I loved watching him in a defensive stance, moving laterally along the sideline.

That was a great moment, 3. Great pic.

When I saw that I couldn't help think that that was a JC move.

My favorite moment was the second time that Brimah sunk the second of two free throws. He started moving backwards down the court before it swished like he had all the confidence in the world, and he played with such joy that it made me feel like a switch was flipped for him yesterday. I know it's only one game, but he looked like a lottery pick yesterday against one of the best rebounding teams in the conference. If that's any indication of lasting progress we may be a long way towards getting back on track.

Brimah has a good stroke from the line. That will help us out at the end of a game this year or in the future. He won't be a huge liability like many big men are.

Kid's going to be a beast....his upbeat energy and enthusiasm is infectious. He's having fun!!! Can't stress how important that is especially to this team. His development is key IMO...not exactly a news flash since we all can see it.

On his FT's and even on the missed jump shot from the FT line he looked very much like a young Patrick Ewing.

I really liked the J he took and missed at the FT line. He caught the pass, composed himself, looked for an open player and then stepped in to the shot. Before he leaves UConn he will have that shot in his arsenal.

I honestly was shocked at his play in this game. It was a quantum leap over anything we've observed from him in any other games. I've seen individual performances more spectacular but I'm not sure I've seen anyone go from barely on the floor to taking over a game on both ends of the floor. It will be interesting to see how consistent this becomes.

PN also has a good stroke from the foul line. His play this game was like the EW game.

When KO makes statements about players I'm convinced he is stating things as they are and not embellishing or keeping things from us. He indicated PN was suffering from the flu. He wasn't making excuses. He, and Bazz, pointed out AB was a sponge in learning about the game and was going to be special. No squid sales pitches by these guys.

I like flying under the radar. "We shocked the world" was one of the best moments in my life.

Keep in mind, Jeremy Lamb had shown nothing more than flashes (hell, he barely even showed ANY flashes) by this point of the season in 2011. Brimah could be in the NBA draft discussion after this season if he makes the jump Lamb did in '11, and while I doubt he gets drafted this year, I'm starting to think he may never make it to his Junior season.
