My least favorite stat was the turnover when they had the ball and the chance to win and have only 9 seconds remaining until the end of regulation after the end of their shot clock.

It was very encouraging to see Kiah play like that after being in the doghouse just a week ago. That's how you respond to tough love: say the right things to the media, work your butt off in practice, and do what your coach needed you to do in a big game. BTW, I thought she played pretty well against Stanford too. Not sure if/when she'll crack the starting lineup at UConn, but she's going to be a valuable piece of the championship puzzle over the next few seasons.

According to Geno (via john a tweet), KML was in the wrong spot on that last possession. She should not have received the ball at the top of the key. That explains Geno's frustration.

I look forward to Stokes development. She has officially become one my favorite UConn players.
