I was interested to see how Meghan would fair last night.She has made great strides from last year but hadn't played an elite team yet. Well when Di Di Richards was in foul trouble she was ok,2nd half not so much. For the game 5-20 is more than an off night.For her credit she did have 8 rebounds and 3 assists.The 3 assists led the team.Seriously? When was the last time a team had 10 more assists than Uconn.(18-8)

Megan was great in the first half. In the second, not so much. Some of that had to do with Richards being on the floor. But I also think that in the 4th qtr, Megan, like the rest of her teammates, started pressing when they fell behind, taking several rushed shots. Megan’s missed layup on the perfectly executed backdoor play, when it was still a close game, was a potential game changer, as Geno pointed out in his postgame comments.
