My tailgate grill has a griddle, too, so I generally cook eggs, bacon, and hash browns at 8 am, and then we cook again at like 10:30, because by then we're all intoxicated enough to talk ourselves into eating bratwurst, etc.
I fail to see why we can't have the best of both worlds.
Exactly, we pre-cook 4lbs or so of bacon so it doesnt take too long to crisp up, have a big container with 3 dozen eggs scrambled ready to go in the pan, so by 8:30 we usually have bacon egg and cheese wraps out to every one, and can prepare for lunch at 11ish
