Got to see part 1 and 2 on the big screen and holy moly it's great. And painfully honest. I knew many of the stories because I've read shooting from the Outside and Venus to the Hoop (both must reads) but hearing the players/coaches speak and seeing all that amazing footage? Wowza.
June 15th. Be there. And bring the kids.

Looking forward to it.

That was just after we got into women's basketball. We had seen the 1994 championship on TV, started attending some Rutgers games in January, 1995 (and the 1995 A10 tourney), got season tickets for Rutgers the '95-'96 season, and happened to go to the final four in Charlotte in 1996 (our only other Final Fours were the 2 Rutgers was in, as ticketing changed to the lottery after that season).

So the National Team was a big thing in our early days of following the sport, and their Olympic success, as well. And the WNBA, which we had tix in the Garden for the first 10 years of the league.

I think I read both books you mention back in the day. I used to read when I was commuting or on business trips.

Thanks. I will definitely be tuning in. I agree. This is Must See TV. I can not wait to see and hear the videos and background stories.

Finally watch the whole series start to finish... really outstanding. The 3 parts are going to be rebroadcast consecutively on ESPNU on July 12th. DVR set.

Yup. Definitely a pretty solid series. Some great information and some really sad stories as well. But definitely Must See if you love basketball and are fan of the women's basketball.
