I read them , and they are just more evidence that how I think and feel seem to be out of keeping with "civilization".

I can understand lawyers getting involved and putting restraints on university personnel to some extent, but that doesn't explain the no contact and no help - the university already admitted a major problem by firing the folks involved so it isn't as if there isn't already an admission of major problems.
And I can certainly understand families being really angry with the Rice TV appearance.
