Not only was this song a hit long before this kid was ever born, but in a foreign language no less. ( the kid is German). Nevertheless this kid nails the audition.

 
I'm not familiar with this song, but there's no way you can listen and not be moved. Simon was left speechless!

Long before AGT, AI, The Voice etc. was a popular program called the Ted Mack Amateur Hour. Many famous stars had their first performance on this show, such as Pat Boone, Jerry Vale and Ann Margaret. Here is 8 year old Irene Cara of Fame.

The Brian Justin Crum version is good, but I prefer the American idol Jena Irene version:

Julia van der Toorn (or Julia Zahre) had already got the judges to turn on her first song, but they wanted to hear another song. The judge who fell on the ground was the one who lost out on her. And yes, she ended up winning Netherlands Voice.

Her audition was so good and unexpected. Ventriloquism is hard enough to do but adding singing...WOW.
(Personally I prefer metal and hair groups but this blew me away when it showed up on my YT feed.)
