Murray Williams' nephew

Desmond Williams has grown into a 6-'5/6'6 guard. I remember him playing for Torrington and he could fill it up. He was basically considered a mid major recruit coming out of high school I know URI and some others offered. Well after a year of D2 ball and growing more into his body and game he will definitely become a high level D1 player this coming year. I hope we are keeping tabs on him and won't be surprised to hear his name as a potential recruit soon.

I know Desmond personally, but I had no idea he was doing so well this year. He was always a good basketball player, but never quite grew into his lanky frame and was always a little overshadowed by his brother. Glad to hear he's doing well and hopefully he can follow in the path of his uncle and brother.
