Once Murray's season is over, Prohm should have his pick of available jobs.

The ASU job is rumored to be open,
The Memphis coach has been mentioned,
Along with Northern Iowa coach
The Murray coach would be great for Memphis.
Sorry Pastner went to Uof A ,next

Haith is horrible, his team is at a tactical disadvantage every time they take the court

if Manning didn't leave, they'd be in the dance by a comfortable margin

Next year will be interesting for Tulsa. Their entire team is back and they will have 8 seniors. If they don't make the dance next year, when are they making it?

Murray State would have been a scary team in the Dance. They are healthy in comparison to some bad losses out of conference when they weren't and certainly have some offense. Tulsa turned out to be a pretty decent team with a coach, as discussed above, who came back to earth from their great start.

Murray State is a team on a mission. Denied the Tourney they are playing the NIT as their proving grounds. Tulsa may not have taken the NIT in the same way. This could have been our downfall if we would have lasted.

Good for Murray State though, cuz they can show the Selection Committee their middle finger on the court. They would have done some damage I feel in the Tourney. They are making lemonade out of lemons.

I can see the parallel to SMU last season, who was left out of the tourney and made a run to the NIT finals. I believe that SMU had a much more legitimate case for the tournament last year than Murray State this year, but it's looking pretty similar right now

Murray State winning the NIT wouldn't change the fact that their regular season profile was empty of any value.

No doubt, but they are thinking differently than all of us, and that's what matters. Like I said they are on a mission. Perhaps they are looking to add some value as well.

Tulsa feasted on the crap AAC teams the first month of conference (except Temple and UConn which were decent wins) and fell back to earth when they started playing good teams in Feb/March.

And yet we had about 35 points vs them on our home floor in the AAC tourney with under 4 to go and needed a miracle run to get past them?

I didn't say UConn was that much better than Tulsa this past season. ;)
