Not sure if anyone noticed the similarity of Mullins’ sick turnaround jumper with the one Dybsanta was throwing up on us. It’s an elite level shot and when Dybsanta was doing it against us I felt his talent was something we could only dream of. Turns out Mullins has the same move in his bag. I hope we see a lot more of it.

That was the shot that got the second "oh-boy!" from Fraschilla.

Between his stroke and his non-stop motor, he is as close to Rip Hamilton as we've come in 27 years.
Better shooter than Rip and thats saying something. This kid is the most natural scorer ive seen as a freshmen at Uconn in 35 years and yes im including Rip and Ray in that conversation and yes only after two games. This kids game is built to put the ball in the basket as soon as he steps on the court. By the time March comes around who knows how good this offense could be with him. You can double him but now you have 3 other guys who can all shoot or go to the basket and oh yeah youll have a 270lbs bear in the post who you wont be able to double. Good luck guarding this offense in a few weeks.

He reminds me of Cam Spencer. Not identical but they are both skilled guards who have quick releases and are talented scorers.

6'4-6'6 Joey California? Since we are throwing out all all comps to past UConn shooters.

The guy that he reminds me of is Reggie Miller. The size, athleticism, quick release and just seems to move effortlessly.
