Not to spark a debate or anything, I could've sworn his middies are cash, almost never misses.
On the other hand, I've never seen anybody missed so badly like him on 3 balls.
Alas, the same goes for Solo.

Maybe the recipe is to start off with some mid range shots?

His release on his middy's is much more efficient - less push shot, more hand to fingertip.

Really don't think we need both of them on the floor much together - we've seen how that works. Congestion.

I've been saying this for a while. His pull-up game is fantastic, but his three point shooting has been abysmal. Less threes, more creativity.

Given his long range shooting struggles of late, if his draft stock drop to the mid 20s of the first round, any chance he comes back? I'm sure he would do very well NIL wise.

They are both clearly good shooters. Both also seem to get inside their own heads. Solo from the elbow has been a near lock all season. Would love to see both mix in the mid range especially if they are hitting early.

I think the larger issue with both is that they are easily targeted on defense. Mullins more than Ball but I'm splitting hairs. Both are prone to overplaying their man, which leads to blow bys and fouls.

They both need to relax. Ross stepping up has been the remedy, but we are going to need both to advance from here.

.-.
His midrange game gets his long game going. Use him more like Rip, Hawk and Ray. The 3’s will come in the flow of the game. Plus the midrange opens up the floor a lot like slashers do. Since we don’t have any slashers, Mullins and Solo going midrange makes a lot sense.

Some of it has been the positioning of his feet this season.....quite often out-of-bounds.
