From the New London Day:
"UConn fans can now become the proud owners of Mullins’ locker at Gampel Pavilion. Through the sports collectibles company CollectU, UConn has placed Mullins’ locker up for auction, which was used by the five-star phenom throughout the entirety of his freshman season.
The wooden locker includes a nameplate with the player’s name and hometown of Greenfield, Ind., along with additional UConn team detailing. Mullins’ locker hit the auction floor Tuesday morning with a starting bid of $2,400 and will close Saturday morning — a portion of these proceeds will be used to fund UConn athletics.
As of 9:30 Wednesday night, the current bid on Mullins’ locker had grown to $5,555, with the unique piece of memorabilia attracting some serious interest due to the freshman’s improbable shot against the Blue Devils"
Any interest? Anybody know the current bid?
