The 9 includes Jewell. She didn't include Jewell's twitter handle. Could have been an unintentional omission but then fix it.

I normally defend Muffet but this is a pretty awful look IMO to shade your former player like that. Especially as a retired coach.

I remember when Stewie posted a screenshot of Muffet blocking her on Twitter, Jewell said she knew the feeling (attached that screenshot).

So, I’m assuming Muffet has Jewell blocked on Twitter, as well. If you block someone on Twitter you can’t tag them in any posts because, it defeats the purpose of the block.

And then I thought maybe she didn’t mention her because she didn’t actually graduate, but someone in the thread of that tweet said she finished her degree in the offseason. Very tacky!

Muffet unblocked Stewie saying she didn't know how it happened. Not true, of course, because Muffet blocked me a few years ago! I am no longer blocked so seems she no longer blocks anyone.

Muffet has a well-earned reputation for her pettiness and overall lack of character.

But even I was surprised at how she promptly tapped out after just one rough season. For all her grandstanding and posturing, not much of an example in the end.

Believe it not, thanks for posting this and I completely agree with your post: this could be inadvertent (in part because MM did mention the 9, so she had Jewell in mind), but fix it.

(BTW, she also mentioned Jess Shepard but neglected to add her twitter handle, but the key omission -- given the history -- is Jewell's.)

She misspelled Jess's last name (Shepard not Shepherd) so maybe she couldn't find Jess's twitter handle (@JShepard32).

Yes...I noted the misspelling and the lowercase "bb's" in WBB. Must've been easier when staff could help make the official tweets right and tight.

BTW, on a completely basketball note, I'm looking forward to Jess coming back ready to roll (knock on wood) and working with Napheesa and Crystal next year in Minnesota.

Jewell doesn't really acknowledge Muffet and ND any more than Muffet acknowledges Jewell.

Muffet might have Jewell blocked but even then you could write her name out untagged.

The funny thing is that it would be easy to take her share of credit for Jewell's success. It takes commitment to stay that petty.

Let's be real, though, Jewell isn't really part of the ND family and I think it's largely because she has no desire to be a part of it.
