On paper, MTSU will have an extremely talented roster in the 2019-2020 season. Headlined by a pair of talented transfers former top-10 recruits and McDonald’s All-Americans Rellah Boothe and Anastasia Hayes. Another huge add for them was JUCO and former K-State post Eternati Willock.

How does everyone see them stacking up against some top teams next season?

Could be very good. Boothe is coming off an ACL and was all over the place as a freshman even though the potential is there. One of the more uniquely skilled players that we've seen in a while with her perimeter skills and ox-like strength and size. If she hits the ground running and is in better shape, lookout. I'll be surprised if that happens though. Hayes will probably do much better at MTSU than she would've at Tennessee under Holly. If players develop I think they could be a good team in 2020-21, guessing it'll take time to get this year.

Aside from complaining about how Evina to UConn got extensive media coverage and Annie to MTSU did not, this was another interesting tweet posted by Insell:

Will be a lot of fun to watch MTSU and Rice this season. Who thought we’d see three McDonald’s All-Americans in a C-USA matchup?

Intriguing tweet by Insell. I'm guessing the SEC team must be either Vandy or Kentucky since those were the only two SEC teams MTSU played last year. I have no idea about the Big 10 school.

big talk from Insell for a team that went 2-3 against in-state completion last year
Beat Vandy and Chatt but lost to Tenn tech, Belmont, and that D2 team trevecca Nazarene .

That said UConn should swap out Vandy for MTSU. :)

UConn is playing Trevecca in an exhibition game. Should Geno start worrying now?

Nah. The players should worry as this provides extra ammo for GA in practice. “These guys beat a D1 team by 20. You think you can get away with a pass like that against them?”

Crystal deserves revenge on Anastasia Hayes, after Hayes prematurely ended Crystal's senior season:confused:.

She would also be ~15 minutes closer to her HS.

I think the mere fact that Crystal went to UConn and Hayes went to the Talent Graveyard formerly known as Tennessee constitutes a solid measure of retribution.
