The four teams going to MSG? Not UConn. Not Syracuse. Not Villanova. Not Duke.

No, they get the quartet of Baylor, Florida, Wisconsin and South Carolina.

Ticket demand and prices are going to fall through the floor on the secondary market. Basically, the OPPOSITE of what happened in 2014.

StubHub!

UConn should push the heck out of the comparison: Thanks To UConn, NCAA Regionals At Madison Square Garden Now More Expensive Than Final Four Tickets

Yikes. Lotta Wisconsin grads -- they will come in numbers. Florida will have some folks. But Baylor? South Carolina?

Was thinking about taking the train down just cause tickets will probably be so cheap!

$300 for the first session nosebleeds not exactly bargain basement prices

A lot less expensive than uconn prices were. I paid $650 for 1 ticket 200 level vs mich st. Can't complain though had 4 100 level tickets and my buddy sold them for $1500. We made $500 each in those and I decided to go to game solo

Baylor has money they will have people there. The crowd won't be as intense as when uconn played though and ticket prices won't be at historic pricing

I think you'll be surprised at the turnout. Demand and prices likely won't be as high as our Final 4, but the building will absolutely be sold out with outrageous secondary market prices.

Surprising. My dad and I sat in the 100's for around $230 a ticket. Bought the day after UConn beat Iowa St.

Got three state universities there. They should represent fine.

South Carolina, which hasn't been in a Sweet 16 in a few decades+ and is a doable drive for many alumni, will entice a lot of interest. At least FL and Wisky have big tri-state alumni groups; USC likely has many more than expected. Baylor being a small TX Baptist school, not so much, and how many alumni want to support their rape, murder, and whatever else controversy plagued school now? 10 pm ET game, not so attractive for neutral fans.

Tickets are actually much more than I anticipated. I just don't think you're ever going to have trouble selling NCAA tournament tickets @ MSG.

The sub regional will always be a tough ticket with four teams. The real test is for the regional final. Uconn sent like 15k fans to the elite eight game against Michigan State. If you get Baylor/South Carolina vs Florida, its just not going to have the demand that 2014 did. The stadium will be packed cause it's MSG, but it will be a lot more casual fans.

You kidding? Damn near all of them. School is a bastion of hypocrisy.

Monday night update: StubHub get-in full strip has dropped $120 in a day, down to $250

But 3 state schools and rich Baylor. That's unpossible!

Hoped not, but perhaps Baylor's more dismal than hoped.

Upon further review and word from some South Carolina alumni friends, USC fans will potentially show up big time ... suggestions of recent decades of a lot of Jersey and NYah undergrads to now alumni + an NCAA novelty since the Gamekokcs haven't been in the dance to advanced too far since Alex English's days.

Were there a lot of Florida fans last time? If I was a South Carolina fan I would definitely go, its once in a blue moon for them plus they are playing as well as any team right now.

3 state universities and a Big 12 school with a strong and wealthy alumni, MSG is going to do fine on this.

MSG will do fine because the tickets are already sold. It's the secondary market that will take a hit on this.
