Louisville won the 1st half. They’re only down by 1 with minimal contributions from Durr and Hines-Allen. If they get going, it could spell trouble for Mississippi State.

While it could be anyones game, thats was exactly my thoughts?

Did Rebecca Lobo say she never drew 1 charge in her entire career. Funny

It should be noted that the # of charges has risen about 1000000% in the last 20 years. Not a good trend in officiating.

Her name is spelled McCowan. I finally reached a limit on seeing it misspelled.

Get over it. There are 2 Teira McGowan's playing Div 1 right now. Get righteous down south.

Beginning first quarter was pretty awful, but sets for both sides seem to be running more successfully. Nice to see Vivians is starting to get her mojo back. Pretty good defense on Durr. Louisville midrange kept them in the game 1st half. To me Louisville has been pretty handsy, so I don't think the refs are favoring Miss. That guard from the Miss bench (Danberry?) where did she come from? Miss bench resources seem to be pretty good.

Better than just referring to her just as "#15".

Why is it when McCowan gets a rebound, a Louisville player usually ends up on the ground???????

McCowan looks dominant, she would be a big problem if we make it that far.
What about the Louisville strategy of making her come out to the 3 point line? Seemed like a good strategy.

And just because she's a lot bigger than those defending her, it doesn't give opposing players carte blanche to be as physical as they want. UL is testing the refs and they are calling the game as it should be.

McCowan is allowed to be physical while Fuehring is called for the same thing.

Still a close game. MSSt has the edge here so long as Durr remains dormant.

That could work for us, since our bigs have inside-out game and are good passers.

The concern is mostly at the other end. Who's going to keep her from getting easy offensive rebounds and putbacks? Gabby is tough, but short. Stevens is tall, but kind of soft.
