Somebody will some day. Curry depends on durability/longevity, but he has a chance - 200+ a year for 10 years puts him on the doorstep. But if not Curry, threes have become a more integral part of NBA offenses these days (floor spacing) and guys are coming into the league younger. Someone like Beal could do it if he plays a long time, since he started at 19 and has a 2-year head start on Ray's pace. Or maybe someone like James Young if he steps into the league and plays like a Danny Green clone, or some stud shooter we don't know yet.
Either way, Ray will hit 3K if he plays one more year, and only one guy had ever made 2K before, so he'll be the Babe Ruth kind of guy that made the league start over with how it thinks about three-point prowess.
