when she said Dolson was wide open and they didnt get her the ball (they replayed it)

the ballhandlers DIDNT have good angles to pass it in to Dolson thanks to St Johns TIGHT defense

That was correct(on many occasions). And, when they tried to pass on some of those bad angles, turnovers happened.

This was exactly true and is what I mean about the issue is often the timing.

DC, Stef was open early on for the over the top pass to her in front. Unftunately it is not a pass we use very often. We tend to try and lead Stef. In a situation like last night the short pass can draw fouls from the defender coming over the top. IF the officials will call it.

I disagree. She wasn't just open but had her defender sealed. Any pass would have done the job. I do agree that in general it is a timing issue. Either not passing the ball early enough or not waiting until she is open.

Exactly right. Dolson was (and has been many, many times this season) open. Wide open. Doesn't look like they are going to be able to get a grip on it this year.
I would agree, the timing is not good.

I agree. Megan's idea of open was just wrong. Plus, when they did get the ball to Stef in the post St john's doubled her and she lost the ball.

Umm no. She was right. Not sure what you guys are looking at. Haven't you ever posted up?

That part is true, well partially. But she does need to do better.

Also the rushing, off to the races, almost every possession. Notice what St.J's did when they got the ball. Time and again, they took a bit more time than we did and set up their shots better. I know we play uptempo, and I love this aspect of our game, but this was over the top.
