I look at it this way, the stupidest movie ever starring Jason Statham is going to be way better than the stupidest movie ever starring Steven Segal or Claude Van Damme.

I am so watching this when it hits streaming!
 
Just saw an ad for this during the Celtics game. Thought, is that JLaw? Yup. Gorgeous woman is trying to make younger guy into a man. Well that’s one fortunate young man.

 
Yeah I saw that too, looks pretty funny. Took me a minute to recognize the slacker blonde dude from The Mick. Good to see Jimmy moved on from Mickey and is doing fine (cuz it looks like he's exactly the same character).

Maybe? It's Marvel adjacent, and doesn't appear to have anything to do with the multiverse, thank goodness. So Aaron Taylor Johnson's Quicksilver got killed off, and he comes back as Kraven.

 
Had not heard anything about this coming up. Another Agatha Christie/Poirot/Branagh movie. Going supernatural and horror-ish?

Okay, Snyder has some bombs, and Netflix blockbusters tend to be mediocre...but you know I'm still gonna watch it. I'm a sucker. Kinda looks like a mashup, some Star Wars, some Dune, some of a bunch of other stuff. Apparently Snyder pitched this to Disney as a Star Wars movie, they passed so Netflix swooped in. Some legit casting choices anyway.

Ok, saw Snyder's name and my first thought was is it waaayyyy too long? Got the end of this too long trailer and see it is two films. Maybe if they each come in under 140 minutes that works. Nobody wants to deal with Snyder because he makes movies the way Russians write novels.
 
I know what my family and I will be doing Christmas Day.

Replying to my own comment, it comes in at 2 hours 13 minutes. So right on the money. Of course the director's cut has a full hour of additional run time.
 
I don't know if I even trust Disney/Pixar enough anymore to not screw this up.

 
This trailer for Rebel Moon looks more coherent. The first one was just random. Still very much intrigued. If nothing else it looks good visually.

 
Millie Bobbie Brown will probably be able to have an entire career just doing stuff for Netflix.

This is A LOT of CGI. Like Avatar levels. It looks like quality CGI at least. Also looks to be getting back to the 70s origins of the Planet of the Apes series.

 
Is this Spider Man adjacent? I'm not an all familiar with the comic. Recognized Dakota Johnson and Adam Scott. Who else is in it I wondered? Somehow I didn't recognize Emma Roberts, Sydney Sweeney or Isabela Merced, even though I've seen all of them in various things.

 
Speaking of Sydney Sweeney, this looks pretty funny to me. She usually does serious dramas. I like Glenn Powell, he's got the charming but totally smarmy thing going here.
