movie trailer thread?

This might be interesting. Blake Crouch has a couple recent novels I thought could make good adaptations. This is one of them. "Recursion" I think as even better.

I think they killed all the real dragons during the Game of Thrones series. Either that or their asking price is too much.

Not to be outdone, Disney is rolling out live action Lilo and Stitch. I wonder if they got a real...whatever that is. I'm not even gonna bother watching the trailer, let alone post it here.


The next brave step is to remake every live action movie ever made as an anime. Or maybe they've already done that.

Ha, I kept seeing thumbnails for "reaction" videos to the trailer today, kept forgetting to actually watch the trailer.

There's a lot going on. I have almost no idea of what any of it is. Other than Lex Luthor and I think Hawkman.

Looks like a really good cast list on imdb.

DC...I just have a hard time with them constantly rebooting everything. No continuity. You keep having to pretend that none of the other DC movies actually happened.


And please tell me that's not Superdog or something.

Is Mikaela Hoover the girlfriend of Sean Gunn or something? He casts her everything, but never as the same person. She was in 2 of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies and The Suicide Squad.

David Corenswet...I have no idea who he is. He's no Henry Cavill, that's for sure. Maybe it will prove to be a great choice.

But the rest of the cast--Nicholas Hoult, Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk, Frank Grillo, Isabella Merced, Rachel Brosnahan, Skyler Gisondo, that's definitely something to work with.

Never even knew her name. So checked into it. They are friends going back to som XBox tv shows he cast her in. He was married to Jenna Fischer and now Jennifer Holland. So, that’s pretty impressive.

As for Hoover, she’s a cutie, and is evidently a free agent. Time to take your shot.

Very confusing trailer. Of course, I’ll go see it, because, well, Superman. I’m sure I’ll love it , no matter what the critics say….because…Superman rules.

I watched a video that explained who all the characters are in the Superman trailer. Sean Gunn is doing a deep dive on Superman lore, he's pulling characters from 50s and 60s comics that probably the vast majority of the general population is completely unfamiliar with. You'd have to be a hardcore comic book fan to know some of them.

I think the continuity starts here. And yes, that is Krypto. Probably the only reason I'm might watch it.

That 28 Years Later trailer is one of the better trailers I have seen in a while.

Not that it's anything new, but there have been a lot of movies in this vein recently. Still, looks kinda intriguing.

This looks like a mashup of about half a dozen movies I've already seen. And an adaptation to a video game that was never released or something. And yet...I'll still probably watch it eventually. Bautista is like the king of sci fi. Blade Runner 2049, two Dune movies, three Guardians of the Galaxy flicks...
