Movement with ESPN c/o 2021 Rankings?

Also Citron had a great campaign .... I totally agree but again that’s not a prerequisite to be better than someone. Body of work over time determines that not 1 stretch of good basketball. The best players in USA don’t always make USA basketball it’s been proven.

I agree all three are great players... however out of the 3 only 2 are consensus Top 25 kids tho. ESPN and Prospect Nation ... Citron doesn’t appear on Prospect Nation! When all ranking sources agree it’s more of a correlation of where a kid probably is possibly ‍♂
She is not in their system, which means they may never have seen her play. They are sometimes behind with adding some players, especially someone like Citron who plays for an independent.

Verhulst plays independent top 25 regardless! Again there no debate there. Citron is good just not unanimous top 25 player ‍♂️

Exactly but hey she got ranked high off making USA by Espn! Making USA shouldn’t determine that IMO
FWIW, ProspectNation also ranks players high based off the trials, so it isn’t like ESPN is the only service taking it into account.

“The highest newcomer to the group is Saylor Poffenbarger of Middletown, Maryland. The 6-foot-1 guard tore up the USA Basketball National team trials with her smart play and shot making. She capped off her summer by committing to Connecticut.”

Short little podcast talks about Poffenbarger, Wolfenbarger, Verhulst, von Oelhoffen, and their summers. 2022 PN rankings will be out within the next week or so.

.-.
All good players I still don’t believe trials should determine your rank... full body of work HS, AAU, performances as well! Along with ability skill and size for position coupled with upside.

That sounds like a plausible list of the Prussian division commanders under von Blucher in 1815, who had the decisive role in defeating Napoleon at Waterloo.

McPherson down a bit to #11.

Lattimore up to #13.
