Arkansas at number 2 was a surprise
They’ve played a bunch of nationally televised games either on network TV or ESPN against ranked competition and have calipari attention. That’ll always lead to eyeballs.Arkansas at number 2 was a surprise

Which you seem to think are the only ones with such promise which is just odd….,and the more you defend it the creepier it getsNot totally suprising - all the traditional hoops schools.
As for UM - more than anything, will be excited to get a shot against them if it presents. This isn't about some admiration as much as sizing up a team that you can see going deep this year.
Look man, I look forward to seeing a UConn run to the title. In doing that, I like to see what the field looks like.Which you seem to think are the only ones with such promise which is just odd….,and the more you defend it the creepier it gets
Hopefully UM and UConn play out at #1 in each bracket so we meet in finals or semifinalsLook man, I look forward to seeing a UConn run to the title. In doing that, I like to see what the field looks like.
Lot's of good teams this year, UM simply stand out. My guess is they walk into the tourney as the overall 1, so it's worth watching a team that we may have to get through to make that run. This was a little bit like Purdue a couple years ago, it's just that 2024 team was unbeatable. I'm not a UM fan, but certainly not going to close my eyes acknowledging there is a goliath out there and not alone on that one.
