Most random Jersey you own (post pics if you know how)

Woulda went to UConn if they offered, iirc...
I heard that rumor but then when they played at Gampel, I remember Raff saying Sura said Storrs was too barren for him. Which it kinda was at the time. Might have been a case of getting turned down by a girl then saying ‘she’s not that good looking anyway’…

Amongst all my Juve kits I have this U.C. Sampdoria kit. I have always liked their fisherman with a corn cob pipe logo. Now that have been relegated to Serie B I guess it is okay to own even though I am a Juve fan.

I had a #35 Neal Anderson jersey in junior high

Note:

-I was not a Bears fan
-It was the white away jersey, not even the classic navy one

When I was about 5, my grandparents took me to Sears to buy me a football jersey. My dad was a Giants fan so he quite reasonably assumed that's what I'd get. My grandparents knew nothing about football, so they complied when I saw a black & silver jersey prominently displayed and said "I want that one!" It was #46 Todd Christensen. And since then, the Raiders have always been my AFC team.

I was a big Bob Sura fan and a buddy of mine went to Kings College years ago. Sura was from that area so some stores carried his stuff and he got it for me. Don’t wear it anymore but would never get rid of it.

I also had a Rocket Ismail Oakland Raiders around the same time but that one didn’t survive multiple moves/spring wardrobe clean outs.

You wear that to the beach and give directions with your guns out?

My children traveled to Buenos Aires without me for a couple of weeks, years ago, when the little ones were still in elementary school. Before embarking, they asked me for a travel gift suggestion.

I am a casual, albeit very partisan River Plate fan, “maybe pick up a t-shirt or jersey”, I answered.

Their travel gift ... (based on the receipt, purchased at the last second at the duty-free shop in a terminal at the Buenos Aires airport) ... a nameless, numberless polyester Boca Juniors jersey.

Boca ... is, of course, the arch nemesis of River Plate ...

I had to wear that bleeping jersey and pretend I loved it until my son graduated middle school, many years later.

Today ... it’s among my most prized possessions.

No one in our household knows why we have an authentic Albert Pujols World Series jersey in our house. I know. Bizarre.

Man I can’t find many pics, but I have a Kentucky Tony Delk authentic from 96. I have multiple Bills jerseys that would be considered random. I have a ton of old champion NBA jerseys including Antonio McDyess and Rodney Rodgers.

Also, Stacey Augmon. Lamar Odom. Damon Stoudamire. Not my best, but a taste until I can find my bag o’ jerseys.

And Baby Willis McGahee and 90s Deion.

Irish National Soccer Team jersey from the mid-90s. Mint condition. Only worn on St. Patrick's Day. :p

Nothing random except the very short period of time these guys remained on these teams (no more than a few months). Not pictured, a Kevin Greene Rams jersey from just before he was sent to Pittsburgh. Also, the number 9 (Greene was also 91).

You mean how long they were on the team after you got those jerseys? Because all 3 of them spent multiple seasons on those teams.

Yes, that's what I mean. Judon never played a game for the Pats after I got it. Thornton and Collins traded a couple of months after I got it, same with Greene. Collins did come back, but Wise had 91.

There's a reason I never got a Brady jersey, not worth the risk. But I will also avoid #9 going forward.
