Which team have surprised you on how well they're playing and conversely which team has surprised you how poorly they're playing.

My teams are both in the SEC.

Over Achieving Team: Kentucky with all the transfers and turmoil at beginning of the year, they're playing great. Probably a two or three seed in tournament. Of course they'll be UConn's Bracket :)

Under Achieving Team: Has to be the Lady Vols with both Diamond DeShields and Mercedes Russell healthy and playing. Lost games have no business losing. They might end up as a 6 seed and definitely won't be hosting any tournament games.

I am astounded at how bad both TENN and Duke look this season. Not sure about over acheivers. Lots of teams have had their ups and downs.

Arkansas???

They beat Tennessee and Tamu and about to take down another ranked team in Missouri

The SEC has me scratching my head.

Maybe parity??

Almost had Duke as my most under achieving team. Didn't only because the Lady Vols were being hyped that this is their year to break the streak of not getting to the Final Four. Duke was not being hyped as a Final Four team.

Underachieving:
1. Tennessee
2. Duke

Overachieving:
1. Arkansas
2. Anyone ranked 20-25 since it's a different bunch every week.

Over achieving team(s):
Texas
Ohio State
Stanford
Michigan State

Under achieving team(s):
The Lady Vols
Oklahoma
Duke
UCLA

For over-achieving I'd pick Arizona State. Except for one inexplicable loss to VCU, their only other losses were to #18 Kentucky (by 4) and #2 South Carolina (by 2).

For under-achieving, pick any team in the SEC.

Overachieving: AZ State, Kentucky, USF
Under-achieving: Tenn, Duke,

Over achieving team(s):
Texas
Ohio State
Stanford
Michigan State

Under achieving team(s):
The Lady Vols
Oklahoma
Duke

Mostly agree, but don't think OK has underachieved. They NO height and that's been their problem all year.

In the VCU game two of their starters were injured - they have since returned and they may be the best team in the Pac at this point - they are undefeated and seem to be taking care of business especially on the road better than the other schools - have yet to do the road games to either NoCal or SoCal so we shall see.

Actually, I thought Texas and Ohio State were predicted to be first rate this year, so I wouldn't call them over-achieving.

Stanford isn't either. In spite of grim predictions of disaster, they are really just another good team this year. I'll be shocked if they win the PAC, that would be over-achieving. Even when they were not so good, they were never a bad team.

I didn't think ASU would be as good as they have been, so I'll put them and Arkansas as over-achievers. Although Arkansas wins may not pay off in the end, as they really are a young team and they did not have a great non-conference.

Duke, Tennessee, Oklahoma all sound fine to me as under-achievers, I would add Cal which is turning out to be terrible - to be fair I missed the Cal game against Arizona so I don't know exactly what's up.

One problem with Cal is a grossly imbalanced roster. Lots of bigs, weak at guard.
