I feel like you're just joking but I really can't tell.

I'm dead serious. I called it on Kemba Walker as well before he had his banner year. Omar has always had NBA written all over him since he was an 8-year old. He was that good of a player and still is. He should be a starter and my sources tell me Kevin Ollie is utterly and pleasantly surprised by Omar's attitude, hard work and performance. Omar will be the most consistent offensive performer for the Huskies. And you can take that to the bank!

Despite my brain trying to argue Hoopdreams' crazy predictions, I have to say I'm all aboard the Omar hype train too! I believe him, yo.

He scored, he rebounded, ran the floor. What a huge bonus for the team if OC is healthy and stays healthy. Come off the bench with energy, hit a few shots. Would be a feel good story for him!

Also, the 30 second clock did keep the game at a faster pace. The extra trips up the floor enabled the student body to roar for the teams 8 blocks, and breaking 82 points. They get free wings for both milestones. Was a good first effort.
I think the free wing promotion is brilliant.

A horde of thirsty college kids are going to eat our free wings, and rack up bar tabs that would make Bukowski blush.

Omar averaged 5.5 points in his junior season. There is no way he averages over 15 points a game this season. Also, the only way he goes to the NBA is if he buys a ticket to a game.

If he is a solid contributor off the bench, that would be great. But there is NO chance that he starts and even less of a chance that he is a first round draft pick.

He's got an outside shot at being one of the conference's best 6th men if he approaches his freshman form, but he'll have to fend off Jalen for that.

I like Omar's heart for the program but he's the most overhyped shooter we ever had. Just bc you shoot a lot of 3's doesn't make you a specialist.
