Actually have some buzz for this game from the fan base and it seems like UConn has its best opportunity to beat BCU since, maybe ever?

A win gets the team to four wins and there are at least two more winnable games on the schedule. That means a win against BCU is a huge step towards bowl eligibility.

UConn's teams have been dreadful for the better part of the past decade. Almost always by late October games were meaningless in terms of how the season plays out. Not this year.

So, considering relative equality between teams, regional rival, potential for a breakthough season.......... this is the biggest/best/most anticipted home game since who?

What this also means is that if Boneyarders and others can make it to the Rent on Sat., please, please go. A decent home crowd cheering on the Huskies could make the difference in this game. Weather looks promising.

I haven't been this pumped to go to a football game in over ten years. I'm psyched for this one.

Had the worst seats (upper corner) I've ever had for a UConn game against WVU in 2010... what a great night!

I would think at least 35k maybe more if all those local Irish & Italian Catholics show up! If we were .500 and BC 5-2, easy sellout.

Huge opportunity to elevate our program over BC. No reason we shouldn’t dominate this series with Mora v Lafley!

Has an attendance figure come out? Looked like 27-28. Sunny side a lot more full than shady side for this brisk day

So happy for the players to have a big win in front of a big excited home crowd. Hope they get addicted to it. Pi$$ed I decided to take the wait-and-see approach and watch from home.

I had guessed about 27k at peak. 25.5 k is good. Got cold on the press box side so some of us moved into the sun. Overall a solid turnout today for homecoming.

I’d guess 28k ish. Pretty darn full except for the upper corners. It was great to see the place with some energy

Some people people don't believe these things matter, but as late as 4:30 pm, Uconn was top 25 trending topics on Twitter in the U.S.

I am not a big social media person, but the young adults I work with are. Bet young potential recruits do as well.

It was also one of the top postgame threads on Reddit College Football yesterday. Man, lots of people really don't like BCU.

If, and I'm not counting chickens before they hatch, UConn beats UMass, then last home game of year is Nov 12 against a good Liberty team with a win getting UConn to bowl eligibility.

That should be a rocking crowd.
