Morgan's Likeability ... Wow

Morgan brings so much to the table in terms of her skill set that can help the program. I am looking forward to watching her play and doing great things to help the program.
Morgan’s probably our most versatile guard behind Paige. Leadership, PG skills, handles, defense, midrange, working 3 ball, slashing, rebounds, plus she’s over 6 foot: Morgan’s got it all.

I’m beginning to think of Morgan as a cross between Caroline and Evina. I guess some here see a bit of Katie Lou in her. She’s not the perimeter shooter Katie Lou was. But she’s crafty like Caroline, and I think she knows when to force the issue like Evina.

I've read a number of Boneyard post comparing MC to KLS. Yes they are both 6'2" , from CA and seem to possess positive team leadership vibes, but I think that's where it ends. Katie Lou was an outstanding 3 pt shooter and while Morgan has that shot, I think KLS was better in that part of the game. Looking at their other skills, I think MC far surpasses KLS. Morgan can handle the ball, break presses and make Nika-quality passes.

All in all I think a better comp for Morgan skill wise is Paige, although not at the same level. I see her as a Paige-lite.

Morgan plays really hard and really smart.

Everything but experience, right?
KK Arnold might be coming off her freshman season, but she’s already one of UConn’s the most experienced players. Her 33 starts with the Huskies are tied with Ashlynn Shade for the third-most on the roster behind only Paige Bueckers and Aubrey Griffin.

Yeah, but my post was about versatility, not who’s the more experienced player.

According to Ash, she’s really working on that shot so maybe we’ll see more KLS in her in her late next season.

Yep and my post was about experience playing as a D1 high major.
