I don’t see how one compares an apple with an orange. Wonder what sort of purpose this kind of comparison is.

The gaudy overseas stats WNBA players rack up serve as a reminder of just how good these players are and just how high the level of play in the WNBA is.

I don't put much stock in stats from the foreign leagues of specific countries. The Euroleague stats are probably a better indicator of who the best players in Europe are.

Speaking of which, Courtney Vandersloot is leading the Euroleague in assists and has a 3.1 a/to ratio. It's a shame she's Hungarian. The US could really 20-something point guard who is a proven commodity in the international game.
