Indeed, HG moved Morgan up to #6, stating they'd been cautious about moving her up from #15 until they were confident that there would be no lingering ill effects of her 2009 injury. After two stellar seasons from Morgan, they felt good enough about it to do so.

Morgan is a star.

I loved her quote, when asked about her potential playing time at UConn:

"I'm not going to UConn to sit the bench."​

Much more declarative than the customary "sit on the bench." I like a feisty player, especially one who can rebound and shoot treys.

On a similar note, I feel that Morgan may be the most natural leader we've had since Renee. Certainly Caroline ranks right up there, too, but all jokes aside, Morgan has 'captain' written all over her!!

I bet she will be a team captain by her Junior year.
