She did wear the brace during the 1st exhibition game but not over the summer.

Uh oh...........Just the mention of the words knee brace brings bad thoughts to my mind. I picture Doty , Banks , and Tuck. Probably just some soreness in Tuck's case. Can't imagine she's wearing it as a fashion statement. I hope its nothing though and is just for precaution.

And this is an important season for Tuck, who came to UConn highly-decorated as a high school and USA Basketball star. Her freshman season was frequently interrupted and constantly agitated by a sore left knee.
“Now I can focus on basketball and nothing else,” Tuck said. “I feel like I am able to play the way I want to play. I am trying not to think about anything but reacting to what I see on the floor. I am not worried about my knee anymore.”

Carl Adamec answers the question why Morgan is wearing a brace now but not over the summer. The answer is Rosemary Ragle. She wants Morgan to wear it to prevent a reoccurrence of last year's bone bruise.
“It’s a precaution,” Tuck said Tuesday night after scoring 16 points in No. 1 UConn’s 93-28 exhibition rout of Division II Philadelphia before 6,108 fans at the XL Center. “They don’t want the same thing to happen that happened last year. I don’t like the brace but I don’t have a choice. It’s all Rosie’s fault.”

Good find. Nice article. I believe she was the Captain of the USA team during the summer? I imagine she will be one her at UCONN also.
