mora > sanders

I can’t find the Colorado post but this will do fine.

Nobody likes it when someone says I told you so.

That being said.

I told you so.

And Shilo Sanders is a total creep.

If that stuff is really true, oof, that is bad. I read another story where he forced players on the team to attend some event where Shilo was rapping. I don't know if that is true or not, either, but if it is that is awful.

I like what Deion did at Jackson State and he did a really job there and did great work for the community as well.

As much as I wanted Colorado to succeed last year and got on the hype train, where I really fell out of favor with them is when they blew that 29-0 half time lead vs. Stanford at home, not on the road, and lost the game. That was a horrendous choke job by the players and Deion Sanders. That's when I knew that team was not going to amount to anything that season.

Deon can recruit. His class for 2024 including transfers is ranked 22. Highest ranked class in BIG 12.

it doesn’t really matter what they do on the field if these allegations are true. It sounds like you are more upset about them losing a lead in the game, than the fact that he ruining a bunch of kids lives.

Thanks @ZooCougar for posting that. Just goes to show that Slime Time isn't a coach, he's a concept, and a contemptible one at that. I'll still take the adult in charge we currently have.

Wow.

It's not difficult for me to believe the stuff that Shilo is accused of is true, given his past history. Honestly, it's not hard for me to believe anything mentioned in this report.

Like, in what planet is DS a better coach and better for a program than JM?

College football a weird ass sport. We take the publicity that a person/program generates off the field and immediately assign it value on the field.

Listen, there is no amount of hype, talk, publicity that is gonna save Colorado.

Ratings don’t matter when you lose. Last time I checked, I want dudes who can win games.

Huh? I merely bifurcated my post by writing about the allegations and then the team's performance last year separately. I was not making any comparison between the two or suggesting on field performance was more important than the horrible culture Sanders created in the background (if true).

I do not how you or anyone else would infer that from my post. I was not even remotely implying the performance on the field would erase the "culture of violence" or was more important than that. I clearly stated that if the allegations were true that it would put Deion in a revolting image as it's a horrible think to put young players through due to nepotism.

Remember, we don't know if the allegations are true.

Good lord. The Copium.

Sanders seems to not be able to handle critism at all. He's playing favorites to his kids and not focusing on playing the best on the field. And now he gets called out for his antics and he's all pissy about it.

.-.
Apologize.

Do it now.

This is classic college football, all sizzle no steak.

In college football you have to be the cool kid, do the cool thing. But, at end of day, what you do the field will doom you.

Sanders is way too much a marketer right now, not much a football coach. His kid is a good player, for college, but he acts like we owe him something .

We owe Sanders fam nothing.

Deion Sanders is fraudulent and you should be forced to apologize to the entire Boneyard.

Just one of many reasons why I think the answer to the question is:

Mora > Sanders

Its crazy how Deion just simply refused to fix any of Colorado's shortcomings. He had all the momentum headed into last season (Most of us knew they weren't for real), but it added some excitement to what had become a moribund Colorado program. However, they look like the same exact team as last year, maybe a bit worse. It appears Deion has no idea how to run a program. This could crash and burn badly this year. Will be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out.

Bottom line for me, at JSU, Prime had athletes the other programs at that level simply could not match. So he looked like Saban. At this level even 5 star talents like Hunter and Shadeur are NOT enough. Everyone they play has game breakers.

Now the value he creates in terms of marketing and fan interest/ selling out definitely has value but without wins that will fade.

A good comparison is when Charlie Weiss went to Notre Dame and proclaimed they would have X's and O's advantage every week. Other coaches sneered at that, and the rest is history.

Their offensive line is soft. Shedeur is getting hammered on every play. The defense isn’t good and their offense can’t keep pace.

Remember, agreement is not confirmation.

Great minds think alike... but so do mediocre minds... (I'm not sure which ones we are yet)

I haven't been able to verify it, but people are claiming that the Sander's arrived at Memorial Stadium in their own ride and not with the team. I tend to doubt it, especially because the media and Buff's fans would be all over it like shit on a goose. But, if it's true, it speaks volumes.

My prognostication is that Coach Past His Prime will declare that he's retiring for medical reasons at the end of his boy's eligibility in November. Oooops, I mean at the end of the season.
