The former UConn recruit (Ansonia/Milford Academy), playing for Southwest CT Prep, has helped lead the Grizzlies to the, "Yankee Bowl", conference championship game this Saturday vs Onondaga CC (5:15pm, Bunnell HS/Stratford). The team is comprised primarily of kids from Southwestern CT towns, who are attending CC and are still pursuing an opportunity to play football at the collegiate level. The Grizzlies participate in the Yankee Collegiate Football Conference, a league consisting of other club football teams throughout New England. The key asset to the club program is that the participant does not lose any athletic eligibility if they decides to play football at the 4-year university or college.

ECSU's club team participates in that conference. I saw them play last year against Southwest Ct. Prep. Linemen in that conference tend to be on the smallish side.

He may be replacing Octavious McKoy at western ct, which by the way, won their bowl game Saturday against salve Regina.
