Big game today. Is it heresy to invoke the mojo so early in the season?

I say no. It's appropriate. We are at a crossroads - a win pushes us into the spotlight, Thanksgiving Holiday Rivalry game - and a loss puts you in the aptly named "losers" bracket.

And when at a crossroads, should you not either sell your soul, look both ways, or see which way the wind blows?

Any and all mojo rituals should commence.

What is your mojo ritual?

Mine? I must not touch an article of clothing with a UConn logo or branding on it during gameday, a curse I discovered in the early nineties. I don't want to talk about it.

So I bought a uconn gnome for $5 the other day. So far, I rub it every day for luck. Right now it's 3 for 3, including some big uconn football wins as well.

I let husky fan dan out the basement and allow him free reign of the house until he becomes once again insufferable.
