Mohegan Sun Arena will host the Big East women’s basketball tournament for the next three years (2021-23), the conference announced Monday afternoon. “We’re thrilled to have the Big East Tournament come to Mohegan Sun,” UConn coach Geno Auriemma said in a statement. “We have the best women’s basketball fans in the nation in Connecticut and they’ll be excited to see UConn back in the Big East.

“We are thrilled to welcome the Big East Women’s Basketball Tournament to Mohegan Sun Arena,” Amber Cox, Vice President of the Sun. This marquee event is sure to be a highlight for all Big East fans, who will not only get to enjoy incredible basketball action, but all the entertainment offerings of Mohegan Sun as well.”

I believe that is the wrong image to where the Big East Women's Basketball Tournament will take place. This particular one is located in Wilkes-Barre, PA

Corrected, thanks. Didn't know there are two arenas. We never hear about the other one.

While the Mohegan Sun is a bit of a haul for the BE’s midwestern teams, it’s drivable for the fans from Providence, St Johns, Seton Hall, Nova and even Georgetown, which should lend to that old time BE tournament feel once fans are allowed back to games.

Would the Mohegan Sun be an appropriate Bubble Location if the NCAA/Big East decided in order to get a season in, they need to use a Bubble system? If not Moheagn, Sun, any other locations, perhaps Atlantic City?

See the other thread, there is an article about just this idea.
