Not sure how many Liverpool fans we have lurking about, but being one, I am incredibly grateful for this man. Came in at a time when we weren’t winning much and turned the club around. Absolute legend and one of my favorite players, regardless of sport.

Mo was at his peak powers for years. The drop-off this year was stark and his salary and the expectations with it made this year miserable for him and the team.

Yup, in hindsight leaving after last year’s incredible season would have been perfection. But, after that season it was very fair to believe he still had all the juice in the world. Drop off came quicker than expected but he is a legend in any book.

He had 34 goals and 23 assists in all competitions last season. Not sure you know what “Washed” means.
