Mitchell Says She's Learned from the Whipping

Nope, Carnac, really doesn't. She shot 14% from the field. If she played 40 minutes, instead of 24, playing the same, she'd have scored 14-15 points on 4-28 shootings. I do not expect a repeat.

The fact that she spent so much time on the bench, did not allow her to get into the flow of the game, no doubt contributed to that 14% field goal percentage. The fact that she had to try and score on the stingiest defense in the league didn't help either.

In a word...........it just was not her day. None of her other teammates had a banner day either. I agree, and I've suggested as much in other postings, Mitchell will not repeat her efforts from last time. Expect her shots to find their mark tomorrow night. She likes to put the ball on the floor. Let's hope that whoever guards her does not get in early foul trouble. She's very good at drawing contact, and getting to the line.
