Both teams started out red hot, then cooled off a bit. Tied at 19 after Q1.

The pros at CBS Sports Network just displayed the Missouri State coach's name as Ajujua (it's Agugua). Great job guys. You expect to get homered by the refs but not as much by a national media outlet.

Looks like Slocum picked up 2 fouls in the first 8 min. Could be a factor in this game.

39-35 MSU at the half

Pivec and Jones had a good first half, the rest of the Beavs not so much. Missouri St. frankly just looks like a better team. OSU and their TOs drive me absolutely nuts. 12 already, and it's not because of pressure. They just cough the ball up way too easily.

Baylor and NC State will be part of 2020 WNIT.

Gotta hand it to Missouri State. Not intimidated in the environment, don't seem to have lost much after the graduation of their best player and the defection of their coach.

Willard is really impressive.

Pivec just took an elbow to the nose but she got called for the foul. Refs...

Still within reach, OSU down 7, but they look BAD. Conversely Missouri St. playing well.

Back to back and-1 for Slocum and a 3 for Tudor, now 49-48 Bears.

This one changed in a hurry. 13-0 OSU run to end Q3, including a 3 by Slocum at the buzzer. Now up 55-49.

Slocum a joy to watch. So much emotion. Doing it all.

63-51 OSU forcing a timeout, starting to hit 3's now.

Kat Tudor was quiet against DePaul, but she's coming up big today. 4-5 behind the arc. Slocum has been huge int the 2nd half.

Glad they moved the 3pt line in. Poor little girls cant shoot it from distance.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

80-69 final. Missouri St. really impressed me with their effort today.

Pivec gets MVP for the WNIT.

OSU switching to a zone defense in the second half made a big difference. OSU was the much better team in the second half. Too bad Corosdale re-injured her hamstring muscle...she tried to come back too soon. I'm convinced they will go undefeated in the non-conference schedule, including a 10 point + win at Miami in 12 days.

You are 100% correct about zone defense, Slocum, and Tudor were the difference. This was Tudor’s 2nd game in 11 months. She is an amazing 3-point assassin
