Did not know Collier had that extra gear. Sue is playing hero for the Storm

Bird w/ a pair of 3's, going back and forth, but overall horrible 4th quarter for the Storm. 18-8 scoring in Q4. 2 minutes left.

Stewie needs to stop shooting. Collier has swatted her 3 times and I think got a piece of that last shot. Now she's 7-20. Loyd is 7-8.

84-81 Storm w/ 1 minute left, Lynx possession.

Crazy scramble play leads to a Dantas 3 from the corner, all tied up.

Collier is just dominating Stewie on both ends of the floor.

Tied again, Seattle ball, 15 seconds left.

Clark w/ a game winning put back. She had 2 big buckets late in the game. 88-86 final.

25 for Loyd, 21 pts/10 reb for Stewie (scoreless in Q4). Other 3 starters all in double figures.

25 pts/9 reb for Collier, 19 for Sims, 14 for Carleton (all in the first half).

Also 6 blocks for Collier, a personal high. I wonder if there's a record for most blocks on Stewart in a game? She probably broke it. :D

That last second shot by Clark was unbelievable. Still, Kudos to Collier. She has reached a new level. 1st team WNBA and MVP candidate next year for sure. I expect a bounce back game from Crystal. Her main issue is she lets her misses from 3pt affect her aggressiveness but I thought she was better in the second half. 6 assists FWIW

That last play...I have a hard time believing that Whitcomb driving is what they drew up in the timeout. I thought Sue held the ball at the top of the key a bit too long. Oh well, it all worked out.

Crazy game. Guessing this will be a pretty competitive series.
I don't think so. I believe Seattle will win by double figures the rest of the way. jmo

I knew teams were shooting well, but had no idea the percentages were that high.
Seattle shot 44% overall and 50% from 3-pt. land (13-26). Outside of Bird, every Storm starter shot over 50% from three, led by Loyd's 4 for 5 (all other starters had 2 successful attempts). Here's the link to the boxscore:

Minnesota shot pretty darn well, too (43% overall and 45% from three). Seattle had a bunch more turnovers but outrebounded the Lynx.

One of those games that fits the bill, "...whomever had the ball last.."
